🛡 Factions
Red: Red Alliance (USA flag)
Blue: Blue Alliance (UN flag)
📱 Ares Alpha App
Use the Ares Alpha app to scan in via your Commander’s QR code immediately after the briefing.
The app shows everything you need:
- The map and box status
- Your teammates in real time
- Active and new missions
- Spawn zones and owned areas, etc.
Be ready with your phone and scan quickly!
🏕 Base Areas & Spawn Rules
Each team has a main base, marked in their team color and with yellow-black tape.
→ 0-minute respawn in main base.
(May occur) – Secondary spawns can appear on the map (round circles in your team color).
Respawn time: 2 minutes per player.
All spawn zones are non-combat zones – no fighting or camping allowed!
📦 Respawn Rules at Ares Alpha Boxes
If your team owns a box (visible in the app):
- Enter the zone.
- Move 130 meters away toward your main spawn, away from combat.
- Sit for 2 minutes – then you’re back in play.
Limitation:
- Max 2 respawns per zone.
- If you get fully eliminated, you may use the same zone again if your team still owns it.
- After that: use another dominated (box) zone, or secondary/extra/main spawn.
Play fair and use common sense.
⚙️ New for this Game – RFID System
The ATB-Ares boxes work differently during Operation Blackout:
- You cannot dominate the boxes using the buttons.
- Each team receives a number of RFID cards to distribute among players.
- To capture a zone:
→ Place your RFID card into the RFID reader on the box.
This means only players carrying an RFID card can capture a box!
Once you’ve placed your RFID tag, the ATB box starts working for your team.
Attackers receive slightly more RFID cards to create more movement on the field.
It’s important that both teams actively control the boxes to help advance positions and respawn more effectively.
🎯 Scoring System for the Boxes
The boxes do not necessarily generate “real” points during gameplay, so don’t focus too much on the numbers in the app.
Only if the main mission ends in a draw will the total box control time be used as a tiebreaker.
Otherwise, box points do not affect the game outcome.
💡 Tip from the Organizer
The Commander receives a limited number of RFID tags to distribute – make sure they go to players who actually push forward and fight to capture the ATB boxes.
Even if a box seems pointless at the moment, it could become crucial later in the game in different ways.

Other General Rules

Pre-Game All weapons must be chronographed on site according to the site table. Make sure you know your BB weight. Rules regarding semi/auto fire may vary depending on the scenario. All players assigned to a team must wear their armbands clearly visible — this includes players in ghillie suits. Eye protection must be worn at all times on the field. All players must carry a death rag and display it clearly when eliminated. (Death rags can be purchased at the tent.) Radios are recommended. Radio channels will be assigned during the game briefing.

Post-Game Each player is responsible for cleaning up after themselves. Pick up any trash you leave behind. Bin bags are available at the tent. The field will be cleaned collectively by volunteers after the game. Keeping the field clean helps us keep access to it longer.

During Game All gameplay is at your own risk. No blind fire: you must see your target. Keep your stock against your shoulder when shooting. Any BB hit counts — whether it strikes you, your clothing, weapon, or gear (except clear ricochets). Knife kills and friendly fire both count as eliminations. In case of a serious incident, call “GAME OFF”. All players must ensure play stops immediately. Serious incidents include: Injuries requiring first aid Fire Civilians entering the field

Grenades & Pyro Smoke and hand grenades must be approved by the organizers before the game. Before throwing a grenade, loudly shout “GRENADE!” Grenades must be thrown underhand (below head height). Grenades may be placed on the floor from one level to the one above, but not thrown downwards. Players on the second floor may not kick placed grenades or throw grenades down to the floor below. Effect radius: Open areas: All players within 5m are hit. Inside rooms: All players not behind solid cover (walls, immovable objects) are hit.

Minimum Engagement Distance (MED) MED is weapon-specific and determined at chrono. All players must respect the MED for their weapon. CQB-class weapons (0m MED) are the only weapons allowed indoors. MED is measured from the muzzle to the target player or building. Shooting from the second floor: MED is counted from the outside wall of the building. Shooting out from the first floor with a non-CQB weapon: the weapon must be at least halfway outside, clearly visible to outside players. Do not fire through cracks or openings smaller than your head. Do not fire through the tarp buildings’ “invisible roofs.”

Player Conduct Eliminated players may only communicate that they are dead — nothing else. Semi-auto only. Support gunners may use short bursts. Always take your hits and play fair. Time – Check in 8.00-9.45. Be on time!
